I'd like to think that ordering a Ferrari in blue is like their secret password to all sorts of extra-special-secret Ferrari goodness, like there's a parallel underground "Blue Tifosi" elite or something.

Well why don't you sell your 911 and buy one!

It's OK. Most of my Ferraris in Gran Turismo are blue.

Yeah. It's one of the cars on my list of actually buyable cars for my future. This, and the older square wedge 308 gt4 (which I think is the next big appreciator...not massive into millions but I think it will soon be recognized for what it is)

very tempting...
but i'm trying to work on my addiction. trying to learn how to keep cars long term and get the most value out of them. when i got the 911 3 years ago it was the first car i had got in years that i actually wanted to keep. the last car i really loved was a used E36 325is that i modded a bit. i had to sell it when i was short on my down payment for my first condo. after that i leased cars and turned them in.
the 911 has been good to me. it's been reliable, efficient, and a lot of fun. it feels wrong to let it go. it would feel like breaking up with a girl that you still have feelings for!

It's nice to see that you care about your car that much. I love it when people that can afford really nice cars can appreciate them!

I think there's more than one. I think it's more like 5-10 somewhere in there.

I love the 308 as well! It's a great car! But I still think I would get more use out of a 456. Hell maybe by the time I can afford a 456 the 458 will have depreciated enough for me to buy!

thanks, i wish everyone that bought nice cars appreciated them.
part of the difficulty is that it takes a lot of time to learn how to research decisions before you buy or lease. a lot of people get a car and don't keep it because it wasn't right for them in the long run. if everyone became an opponaut they'd save money because they'd make better decisions.

The Sultan had 7 made, so that's certainly between 5 and 10.

I want a wagon version of the 612. Not the FF. But a RWD MT 612 that's a wagon
